5 things I’m currently raving about

Currently, these are the things this happy hometown mama is raving about.

1. Crock Pot

Without this ingenious cooking tool my family would go hungry on busy nights.

This thing “cooks all day while the cook’s away.”

My hard-working machine

It was created in the 70’s.  During the energy crisis of the 1970’s, Americans were encouraged to conserve electricity, and Crock-Pots operated at a very low-wattage. This was also the time that many women were abandoning their traditional roles as homemakers, either entering the work force or engaging in various pursuits outside the home.

The Crock-Pot fit their new lifestyle and is a life saver for my own. Thank you Rival!

2. TOMS

These shoes are so comfortable and environmentally conscious. For every pair you buy, TOMS will give a new pair of shoes to a child in need. How awesome is that? I currently own two pairs but have my eye on about a dozen others I want. If you don’t own a pair then I recommend  checking them out. You won’t regret your purchase!

3. Thirty-one Bags

I am addicted to Thirty -One bags. The utility tote is one of my all time favorites. I own a few and use them for various things. J’s toddler bag, my teacher’s tote, softball snack bag, and beach/pool bag are a few of our family’s uses. Check out Teresa’ 31 Uses for the Utility Tote and get some ideas of your own.

4. Greek Gods yogurt

This is my latest food addiction! I don’t know if it is really that healthy for you; but Greek Gods Greek Yogurt claims it is: 1. All Natural 2. Made with Live and Active Cultures (Including Probiotics) 3. Kosher-Dairy (Orthodox Union) 4. Excellent Source of Calcium 5. rBST/rBGH Free (No BGH) Growth Hormones. All I can say is it is DELICIOUS! I think I will head to the kitchen now to mix me some Greek God honey yogurt, blueberries, walnuts, flaxseed, wheat germ, and chia seeds.

Yum!
